Recipes, please!

OK so I am in a major need of new, easy, yummy, and healthy recipes! I cook basically the same dang things each week... tacos, chicken and rice, cereal, grilled cheese, and pasta. Boring, I know. And boy does my husband now that all to well. Every time we go to the store he states we eat the same things and don't venture out. And I always kindly reply," well find me a recipe you want me to try out and I will cook it!" It's a lovely conversation every shopping experience we have! So needless to say, I would love some easy but yummy recipes. So if anyone has a good one for me to try out please send it to me! Nick (and myself) would greatly appreciate it! Ciao!

I plan my shopping 2, 5 day weeks at a time and I have breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts for 10 days. So if you're interested then you can come over because I have the grocery list, I have the recipes, but I am NOT typing them. I love you, but that is too much work!! I spend about 350$ every 2 weeks. But I don't want to go to the grocery store more than that soooo you could do one week at a time or whatever you want. The things I do are easy peazy, because I have 4 kids and lessons and everything. So just let me know. For example this week the dinners are....chicken salad crossaints, fettichini alfredo, hamburgers and fries and jello, won ton salad, and italian dressing pasta with cucumbers and chicken and stuff... very yummy. Let me know, LOVE YOU

Here's what we had for dinner on Monday night:

1 lb ground beef browned and drained
1 can corn
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 can red kidney beans
1/2 can of water
1 package of taco seasoning
1/2 a onion

Mixed all the ingredients together in a large pot and cook till bubbling and hot (about 20 minutes). Serve with sour cream, cheese and tortilla chips on top. Yummo!

I have a couple for you that are way yummy and super easy! First, I make these chicken pockets (they're one of Justin's faves):

1 can big & flaky croissants
1/2 block cream cheese
1 Tbsp minced onions
1 can chicken (costco tastes best) or 2 chicken breasts cooked & chopped

Mix last 3 ingredients in bowl. Take croissants and kinda flatten them to stretch them out. Put 1/6 of the mixture on the big end and roll it up, pinching all ends closed. Put on cookie sheet and sprinkle with a little garlic salt. Bake as usual. For a sauce to go over the top, I take a can of cream of mushroom/chicken soup, 1/2 can milk, and some garlic powder heated in a pan. Spoon over the top of the baked pockets.

You can also add quartered grapes and chopped cashews to the mixture or chives...very tasty!

Another one is a quiche that tastes so yummy! You take a pie crust and sprinkle 1 cup cheese and a chopped bell pepper in the bottom. Then, in a bowl mix 4 eggs, 3/4 C salsa, and a small can evaporated milk (less than 1C) and pour into pie crust over cheese and peppers. Bake 375 for 40 mins or until set.

I have more if you want some!

Hey Whit! I have some great crock pot recipes that are so sooo easy. Some of my favorites include Beef stew that I put into bread bowls, Chicken with duck sauce (it is not really duck though!) and Ribs...yummm. Let me know if you want any of those. Also I have some great pie recipes for dessert. The French apple is the best and ohh so easy! Oh ya my kick lately is cheddar and broccoli soup or tortilla soup that is so simple.
